Supervisor: Yuishinkan Sugino Dojo Founded in 1927 by Yoshio Sugino, an inner disciple of Jigoro Kano, as a judo dojo. Later became an official Katori Shinto-ryu training center and the second Aikikai branch in Japan. Sugino, known as the last swordsman, coached swordsmanship for Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai.
