The reverse kimura is a unique control position that can be used to transition for sweeps, back takes and a wide variety of submissions. Relatively unknown to most BJJ practitioners, the reverse kimura is a great position to study and understand to give you an edge in sparring or competition.
"I’m excited to announce my newest project. This instructional is completely focused on the Reverse Kimura. This is a position I’ve been experimenting with for the past 4 years. I’ve taught quite a few classes on it and I use it in sparring all the time. Now I feel ready to share it all with you. In total, there are 8 sweeps and 10 submissions, not to mention chapters on setting up the grip. I can’t count how many students have told me that this became their go to move after showing them. I hope you will fit it into your Jiu Jitsu as well!" - Budo Jake

I like these kinds of instructionals that are taught by guys who know how to teach. Very clear instruction and lots of variations and explanations as to the whys and hows. I'll pick up anything Jake puts out.
I like how Jake teaches this position. He shows it as a subsmission and a transitional position to sweeps and other submissions. Very useful overview. I like these in depth instructionals that focus on a topic. Please make more Jake!
I like the perspective of reverse kimura. Budo Jake does a fantastic job demonstrating unconventional transitions sweeps and finishes. A pretty cool concept to add to your game, TK says checkit out!!!
I enjoyed it. I like videos that thoroughly explore a topic and this one does just that. I tend to get more out of instructionals that are clear and concise not randomly showing an assortment of moves. I will check out Jake’s other instructionals too.
The reverse kimura is gonna be a game changer for me. Very unique control for sweep and joint locks and chokes.
