About the Instructor:
Hisanori Kato is the founder of the Jin-Tore Association and a martial arts expert born in 1961. Starting with judo and karate in his youth, he became a professional kickboxer before joining the Japan Self-Defense Forces, where he also studied taekwondo.
- 1986: Won the 6th All-Japan Taekwondo Championship (Sparring Division).
- 1989: Competed against Hirohiro Nango of the Byakuren Kaikan in his debut match and sparred with Samart Payakaroon, considered one of Muay Thai's greatest talents, at a packed Omnoi Stadium in Thailand for a film appearance.
- 1994: Worked as a bodyguard for Miss World and trained the Kerala State Governor’s Security Team in India.
- 2002: Won the 1st All-Japan Taekwondo Poomsae Championship (Forms Division).
In addition to taekwondo, Kato has trained in Systema, Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu, and aikido, leading him to develop Jin-Tore, a ligament-focused training system. He founded the Jin-Tore Association in 2012 and continues to innovate and teach the method worldwide.
