Nakamura Taizaburo
- Born in 1912
- Received special instruction in Kendo and Jukendo at the Army Toyama School in 1939
- Awarded a certificate of teacher aptitude
- Founded the All Japan Batto-Do Federation after the war to preserve Toyama-ryu and Nakamura-ryu Batto-do
- Renamed the International Iai Batto-do Federation to the International Batto-do Federation in 1999
- Even at age 90 (in 2001), actively promotes Batto-do and martial arts
