About the Instructor:

Dr. John M. La Tourrette (1940s–2023) was a direct student of Ed Parker, earning 5th-degree black belt in American Kenpo Karate (1981). Nicknamed "The Speed Man" for rapid strikes (clocked at 16-18 hits/second). Held higher ranks from others (8th Al Tracy, 10th Jim Mitchell). Authored books on Kenpo, mental training, energy techniques; integrated NLP, sports psychology (PhD). Known for speed fighting, pressure points; Hall of Fame inductee.
