From the Kyusho perspective, training begins with revival and restoration methods before progressing to mobile arm targeting as the foundation of its martial application. When analyzing an attack, aside from kicks, nearly every offensive action begins with the arms. The challenge is that the arms are the fastest-moving parts of the body, possessing the greatest range of motion and the widest variety of attack angles. For this reason, arm targeting is a demanding yet essential component of training that should be integrated into every session through a wide variety of drills and scenarios.

Another way to simplify this level of training is through the development of effective arm trapping skills, which help control and redirect an opponent's movement while creating opportunities for decisive counterattacks.
