This DVD collection features precious footage filmed in the early Showa era, including high-speed camera recordings from Showa 5, showcasing the striking sword techniques by Sasaburo Takano and the receiving sword techniques by Hakudo Nakayama in the Imperial Japanese Kendo forms. Additionally, it includes footage from Showa 33 of the striking sword techniques by Goro Saizumi and the receiving sword techniques by Seiji Mochida in the Japanese Kendo forms. These demonstrations were performed by four revered masters known as "kensei" (sword saints), who stood out in the Japanese kendo world. This collection is a permanent edition of high historical value.
