Cast:

Koichi Ishizu (Born August 13, 1936) Born in Osaka, Japan, Koichi Ishizu encountered the charm of judo through outstanding seniors in the judo club at Mikunioka High School in Osaka Prefecture. Inspired by judo's allure, he pursued judo passionately. As a first-year student in the four-year Physical Education Department at Tenri University, he engaged in fierce competition with excellent teachers and colleagues, dedicating himself to judo throughout his university life. Since graduating in 1961, he has served as a judo club coach at middle and high schools, diligently pursuing the path of judo instruction.

In addition, in 1969, he established the Doto-Kan Judo Dojo at his home, where he instructs elementary school students in judo, achieving remarkable results and garnering attention. His fervent pursuit of judo principles has attracted instructors not only from the Kinki region but also from distant regions such as Kanto, Shikoku, and Kyushu, seeking his teachings. He spends his days meticulously organizing a vast collection of materials documenting daily discoveries.
