Chi Kung For Health DVD 4: Flying Phoenix Celestial Healing Chi Meditation by Terence Dunn (Preowned)
"Chi" = air, breath, power, effervescence, combustion, electricity, energy, vital life force. Chi Kung
("qigong") means "breath-energy work", a powerful ancient Chinese exercise that cultivates the body's intrinsic natural energy-"chi"-to attain great health benefits. Chi Kung practice improves blood circulation, respiration, metabolism, skeletal strength, neuromuscular-function and immunity, resulting in supreme good health and longevity. It is the rare meditative art that has activated traditional Chinese medicine and empowered Chinese martial arts for more than 4,000 years.
In Volume Four, Terry Dunn, one of America's leading Tai Chi and Chi Kung instructors, gives step-by-step instruction in the Flying Phoenix Celestial Healing Chi Meditation (AE MEl 7*=) Long Form. Twenty minutes in length, this moving meditation is the capstone to the Flying Phoenix Chi Kung system created over 400 years ago by the legendary monk, Feng Tao Teh (33 112) of the Ehrmei Mountain Monastery, in Szechuan Province in western China. This rare exercise is more therapeutic than T'ai Chi Ch'uan, combining authentic Taoist breathing techniques with supple natural postures and fine synchronized movements to bring all bodily functions under the regulation of the subconscious mind.
Terry's Chi Kung lesson is easy to follow and imparts tangible energizing and rejuvenating effects.
Profoundly fast-acting, stress and tension literally vibrate away with every breath as the sublime Flying Phoenix healing energy is generated by this meditation. Regular practice generates a superabundance of this vital-supramundane energy and develops conscious control over it. Authentic Chi Kung at its source. No downstream hokum. No new age blather.
