Born in 1933 in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. From a young age, trained under his father, the 16th generation of Ono-ha Itto-ryu, Juzo Sasamori. In 1975, succeeded as the 17th generation head. Currently serves as a martial arts instructor at the Police University, teaching Ono-ha Itto-ryu. He is also a director of the Nihon Kobudo Kyokai and a permanent director of the Nihon Kobudo Shinkokai. Additionally, he serves as a Protestant pastor at Komaba Eden Church (Rakudokan).
