Busen Arakawa was a master martial artist and the founder of Sokan-Ryu Kobudo. He was a senior student of Kanki Izumikawa, an instructor in Hawaii, a student of Shinken Taira, and a famous "God of the Nunchaku" who authored several books and booklets on kobudo.
