Gassan Blacksmith in Dewa, which was extremely prosperous during the Kamakura period. Gassanden features Ayasugi and sword carving on the bullion. Gassan Sadatoshi, who follows that trend and inherits the 800-year tradition. After graduating from university, he received the swordsmith of the late Sadaichi Tsukiyama, a living national treasure of his father, and entered the path of swordsmithing. Currently, Ichimon Gassan is also making efforts to train successors, and has produced many excellent swordsmiths.
