About the author:
Director of Okinawa Karatedo Goju-ryu International Shoreikan. Born in Tokyo in 1942. He has been studying under Masakichi Wataguchi (a model of Miyagi, a character in the movie "The Karate Kid"), a direct pupil of Chojun Miyagi, the founder of Goju-ryu Karatedo, since he was 18 years old. For 13 years from 1969, he opened a dojo at Rockefeller Center in New York. The dojo was opened in Milan for the next 6 years. He is currently teaching in France.
