Instruction & Supervision: Shutaro Deguchi
Graduate of Musashino Art University. For 20 years, he has researched traditional Eastern qi training methods including Taijiquan, Yoga, and Qigong, advocating and spreading a natural body method that integrates these traditional Eastern health practices. He is a pioneering figure in Japan's qigong and Chen-style Taijiquan communities. He founded and popularized Wave Motion Qigong as a Japanese form of qigong. He also studied Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu under Master Seigo Okamoto and currently holds the rank of 4th dan. He serves as Chief Instructor at the Japan-China Health Center, Teacher at the Japan Yoga Zen Association, and is a Class-1 Chinese Martial Arts Judge.
