Global Defense System: Cross-Training w Bare-Hands (On Demand)
Global Defense System: Cross Training with Bare Hands
By Pascal Gilles
The Global Defense System is built on the study and integration of multiple martial arts and combat sports. Rather than promoting a new style, it emphasizes an open-minded approach to training, recognizing that no single discipline encompasses every aspect of real combat. The goal is to develop adaptable, well-rounded skills that can be applied effectively in a wide range of situations.
In Cross Training with Bare Hands, Pascal Gilles presents a practical training methodology centered on concepts rather than rigid techniques. The focus is on understanding distance, movement, timing, and adaptability—essential elements for effective self-defense and combat. Instead of memorizing fixed sequences, you'll learn guiding principles that allow techniques to evolve naturally based on the situation.
Drawing from Dog Brothers Martial Arts, Panantukan, Jun Fan, Western boxing, and other striking systems, the techniques complement one another to create a versatile and functional approach. This cross-training method provides practical solutions for a variety of combat scenarios while encouraging fluid transitions between ranges and techniques.
