Chon-Ji by Jhoon Rhee, is a book directed towards those students just beginning their TaeKwonDo training. Author Jhoon Rhee includes applications with foot patterns, overhead views and one-step sparring. Laid out in such a manner that each description and photograph is easy to follow, this book is a great overview of the first ITF TaeKwonDo form, Chon-Ji. Chon-Ji is the first form many students master. Strong on facts and techniques, less so on theory, Rhee explains the moves and shows them from different angles but more importantly he explains their martial arts applications. This would be a great book to add to any martial arts collection.
