Instructor: Hideyuki Ikeda (Head of Mukeijuku Taijiquan)
Holds black belts in Goju-ryu Karate (2nd Dan), Uechi-ryu Karate (2nd Dan), and Ryukyu Kobudo (1st Dan).
Ikeda began martial arts training in the early 1970s, visited Chenjiagou in 1982 for short-term training, and has since dedicated himself to Chen-style Taijiquan.
He started teaching in the mid-1980s at Higashimurayama Sports Center in Tokyo, instructed at the Yokota Air Base for 10 years, taught at Gold’s Gym from 2003, and opened his dojo in Omori, Tokyo, in 2008.
Today, he continues to focus on teaching practical Taijiquan across Tokyo.
