About the instructor:
Chief instructor of the Nippon Kempo Federation, technical advisor to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Nippon Kempo Club, and external lecturer at the Japan Self-Defense Forces Physical Training School. Born in Tokyo in 1944. Started Nippon Kempo at the age of 16 in 1960. Through rigorous training and dedicated study, he achieved outstanding results in numerous competitions, including winning the All Japan Championship. He has been active for many years as a representative athlete of Nippon Kempo, and has also devoted himself to spreading the word about Nippon Kempo through demonstrations around the country and TV appearances. He continues to be active today in teaching the next generation of martial artists through the Aoba Kenyuukai.
