Since high school, he has studied Bajiquan, Pi Guazhang, Baguazhang, and more at the Japanese dojo of Su Yiqiang, a disciple of Li Shuwen. After working as an instructor, he established "Martial Arts MAS (Martial Arts System)" which emphasizes learning from martial arts. Currently, he teaches Bajiquan, Pi Guazhang, Baguazhang, and other traditional kung fu, as well as Tai Chi as a health method.
