This is the last of the trilogy books, that Master Oyama wrote. 1957 was the first , What is Karate, and was redone in 1966. The we had This is Karate, 1967, and at the time, it was the hottest thing on the bookshelves! Then 1970 Advanced Karate. Each took you a step higher than the previous one, and the College Education came with Advanced Karate. I would highly recommend these volumes to any serious student of the Kyokushinkai syle of Karate. I still have all mine, and they are still brand new after all these Years. If you can get the original oversize volumes, then you are in luck. The knowledge and wisdom of Mas Oyama, will follow you always.
