About the Author:
Representative Director of the International Self-Defense Martial Arts Federation. Representative of Ken Self-Defense. Crime prevention and self-defense consultant. He began martial arts in junior high to overcome bullying. After graduating from high school, he joined the Self-Defense Forces, ranked first among 110 members of the training corps, and was assigned to an elite unit. After being discharged, he trained in karate and then began Daito Ryu Aikijutsu. He is currently a Daito Ryu Aikijutsu instructor. The Akihabara massacre in June 2008 prompted him to decide to spread self-defense techniques. In 2012, he founded Ken Self-Defense. He has conducted over 300 self-defense seminars across the country, teaching self-defense to over 10,000 people, from professionals such as police officers and Self-Defense Force members to ordinary people.
