About the Author: Nishida Yukio
7th dan in Kyokushin Karate, 5th dan in Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu, 5th dan in Ryukyu Kobujutsu, and 9th dan in Okinawa Goju-ryu Hanshi. After the death of Sosai Oyama Masutatsu, founder of Kyokushin Karate, he served as the Japanese and world representative of the Kyokushin Kaikan. In 1999, he established Kyokushin Karate Seibukai. He incorporated Chinese martial arts, Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu, and Okinawan karate into his training and technique system, which had previously focused on power, and established a karate that could be pursued throughout one's life. His books include "Karate! The Path to Mastering the Ultimate Skills", and he has taught and supervised the DVD "Karate, Acquiring Its Essence (Vol. 1, Vol. 2)".
