About the Authors
Tatsuru Uchida: Born in 1950, Tokyo. A professor at Kobe College, specializing in French philosophy. Graduate of the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Literature, French Literature Department.
Tsuyoshi Hirao: Born in 1975, Osaka. Former member of the Kobe Steel Rugby Team until 2006 and a former Japanese national team player. Retired in March 2007. Currently, he coaches at the SCIX Rugby Club while pursuing graduate studies in education at Kobe Shinwa Women’s University.
