Instruction & Supervision: Tohjiroku Takeuchi (13th Generation Heir) Born in 1937 in Okayama Prefecture as Takeo Takeuchi. From the age of four, he received guidance in the Takeuchi-ryu martial arts from his father, the 12th generation heir, Tohjiroku Hisahiro. In 1991, upon his father's passing, he succeeded the name Tohjiroku Takeuchi as the 13th generation heir, preserving the family martial arts. He has held important positions in the ancient martial arts community and was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun with Gold and Silver Rays in 2007 and the Japan Ancient Martial Arts Association's Distinguished Service Award in 2011.
