Veteran owned and operated, David-Dorian Ross’ TaijiFit transforms traditional Tai Chi into a modern experience to deliver tai chi health benefits to our nation’s veterans. TaijiFit, the exclusive OPTUM-contracted provider, stands ready to deliver the full ask of the Mission Act’s tai chi services with the Tai Chi for Veterans program. To achieve this goal, TaijiFit maintains partnerships with community leaders and veteran organizations. Since 2018, TaijiFit has trained instructors nationwide specialized in veterans’ needs, providing workshops focused on common veteran’s issues, including living with PTSD, suicidal ideation response, meditation, overall fitness, and weight loss.
