Takayuki Oyamada (小山田崇之) Practiced Aikido for 21 years as a staff member at the headquarters dojo of Yoseikan Aikido. As an instructor, he has taught students ranging from kindergarten children to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Riot Squad and officers from local police stations. He is renowned for his reproduction of techniques taught by the esteemed master Gozo Shioda, known as a master of Showa-era martial arts, and continues his research focusing on body mechanics in martial arts.
