Clear, Concise all Around Great Material

These videos are great. I purchased vol 1 & 2 to add to my Kempo skillset as well as to prepare for attending a local Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu study group. The instruction is very clear.

A solid video on the core techniques of Daito-ryu

As a long-time budo practitioner who studied Daito-ryu for a couple of years in Japan, I can attest to the fact that this video is a solid representation of the core techniques of Daito-ryu.

This video does not really seek to teach the techniques or coach one in the details of the delivery or application of the techniques but rather just shows the techniques from the kata being performed from various angles.

It is clear, well lit and professionally shot. A solid representation of Tokimune Takeda's tradition as presented by Arisawa Gunpachi, a teacher who trained for decades under the headmaster and was one of the senior teachers from the Hokkaido tradition.
