Mark Fleming started wrestling at the age of 13 in junior high school and wrestled (and played football) through high school. He went on to become a high school wrestling champion and turned pro through a tryout camp conducted by the Crockett Promotion of the NWA in lieu of attending college. Mark has wrestled throughout the United States and Canada as well as having competed in 19 tours of Japan for such promotions as the UWFi (in which Mark ranked number 2 for six months) and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Mark was managed by Lou Thesz for 7 years and also worked as the head coach at Lou's wrestling gym for 3 years. Mark now owns and operates Fleming's Gym in downtown Portsmouth, Virginia, training people from 16 years old to 80 in physical fitness.
