Aikido is universal love, its spirit is not to fight others but to give love. The aim of this book is to offer an introduction to the basic program of Iwama Ryu Aikido. We have tried to present a simple classification of techniques and to describe them in simple and easily understandable terms with about 200 photos taken by Master Teruo Tsuihiji 7th dan - uchi deshi of Sensei Saito Morihiro. However, there are many aspects that cannot be adequately explained with words or photographs; therefore this book cannot replace a good teacher, but it is hoped that it can be a useful support for everyone's training.
