This two DVD martial art set continues the documentation of Yin Style Bagua's Bear System.

The martial art of Yin Style Bagua contains eight complete systems, each based on one of the eight trigrams of the Book of Changes and represented by an animal. The eight systems- Lion, Snake, Bear, Dragon, Phoenix, Rooster, Unicorn and Monkey— each have their own development exercises, attack methods, stepping, kicking techniques and underlying philosophy according to its particular trigram.

The Bear system belongs to the Gen trigram, which is represented by Mountain. Strong but not dominating, it is the most Yin of the Yang trigrams, and is known for striking when advancing and withdrawing to snatch victory from defeat. Within the Bear system are eight types of striking methods, each with seven forms: Rushing, Penetrating, Withdrawing, Carrying, Leaning, Shocking, Soft, and Following.

Volume III demonstrates the Rushing Strike Attack Methods and Volume IV demonstrates the Penetrating Strike Attack Methods.

Each shows the seven forms, how to develop power within them, and their applications on an opponent. They feature two camera angles, narration and each disk is over two hours long for a combined total of over four hours of information.

Born in 1920, Dr. Xie Peiqi began training at age 13 and was the last person fully trained in the complete art of Yin Style Bagua. Very concerned in his later years that it would not survive as a complete system, he dedicated himself to documenting its Chinese medicine, martial arts, and Qi cultivation practices through ATS. Passing away in 2003, Dr. Xie left an incredible legacy for future generations of practitioners. He Jinbao has studied martial Bagua with Dr. Xie since 1971 and is the chosen martial lineage holder.
