Instructor: Bin Ishii (Head of Tenryu Bujutsu Kai, 8th generation master of Xinyi Liuhequan)
In 1978, he joined the All Japan Chinese Martial Arts Federation and learned various Chinese martial arts including Tai Chi and ancient Japanese martial arts. He also learned Chen style Tai Chi from Master Du Jin and Shanxi style Xingyiquan from Master Feng Zhengbao, and served as an instructor and director of the All Japan Chinese Martial Arts Federation from 1982 to 2007. He won the gold medal in Chen-style Tai Chi at the China International Tai Chi Observation and Exchange Tournament and won first place in Xingyiquan at the National Martial Arts Tai Chi Tournament. He was recognized as the official successor by Master Zhao Yongchang. He then became a disciple of Master Li Zunsi, a master of Shanghai Xinyi Liuhequan and Chaquan. In 2008, he founded the Tenryu Bujutsu Association for the purpose of research and exchange in Japanese and Chinese martial arts, which he continues to this day. He is the fifth successor to Baguazhang, the 19th master of Yagyu Shingan-ryu martial arts, and the master of Yamato-do, a Japanese military art.
