Instructor/Performer ◎ Hagiwara Konosuke
Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1968. Starting with Judo, he went on to study Sambo, the national sport of the former Soviet Union. He won the 82kg class at the All Japan Sambo Championships from 1991 to 1993. He is nicknamed the "Monster of Sambo." He also studied under Volk Han, a master of command Sambo who was a huge hit with Rings, and founded "Jinjutsu" in pursuit of combat techniques that go beyond sports, building a unique technical system specialized for self-defense. He is a member of the Technical Strengthening Committee for the Sambo National Team, holds a 5th dan in Kodokan Judo and an 8th dan in the International Sambo Federation, and is a lecturer at the Japan Wellness Sports College.
