About the Author:
A sports scientist, advanced ability scholar, and developer of "Yuru (loosening)". Director of the Institute of Exercise Science, Chairman of the NPO Japan Yuru Association. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he completed his graduate studies in education at the same university. During his time at the university, he founded "exercise science" by integrating Western science and Eastern philosophy, and became involved in research into advanced human abilities and body awareness. While instructing Olympic athletes, business executives, artists, and others, he developed many "advanced exercise science trainings" such as "Yuru Exercise" and "Super Walk Sidewalk", as well as "Body Awareness Development Method", "Integrated Breathing Method", and "Physical Ability Development Method" to improve the physical and brain functions of a wide range of people regardless of age or gender. He is supported by many people. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, he led the Yuru Exercise Project to support reconstruction efforts, and he also teaches in the disaster-stricken areas himself.
