Instruction and supervision ◎ Toshio Seto Toshio) Head of Tokushinkai Nippon Den Jyu Kempo and Tai Chi School. Born in Tokyo in 1949. Learned karate in elementary school, and was active in Shorinji Kempo in high school and college. In his third year of college, he met Master Wang Shu-chin, a master of Chinese internal martial arts, and discovered the power of Tai Chi. After learning Shaolin Kempo from Master Wuchang in Taiwan, he became a disciple of Master Cheng Tian Xiong, a master of Wu style Tai Chi in Hong Kong, and mastered the full transmission of the Wu style in his 20s. After that, he cultivated his "internal power" by thoroughly practicing standing meditation and taoru, and founded "Nippon Den Jyu Kempo" in 1986. Although he rarely appears in the media, his skills are widely known.
