Daito-Ryu Aiki JuJutsu

Daito-Ryu Aiki Jujutsu by Seigo Okamoto is an outstanding text on Roppokai Daito-Ryu. Roppokai Daito-Ryu is derived from the teachings of Kodo Horikawa, a direct student of Sokaku Takeda. The information provided by Okamoto regarding solo and paired exercises in the Basic Skills chapter is worth the price of the book. The basic exercises are clearly illustrated and described. The book also provides similarly detailed illustrated and described applied techniques for a wide variety of attacks. Daito-Ryu Aikijujutsu by Okamoto is highly recommended for anyone interested in understanding aiki.
