Profile of instructor/supervisor

Otsuka Hironori
Born in 1965 as the grandson of the founder of Wado-ryu. He studied iaido from an early age, wrestling and judo in high school, and began karate in earnest in college. After studying in the US, he moved to France, where he taught in various countries for 10 years. In 2015, he inherited the title of third head of the family. He has published the DVD "Ura no Kumite" and the book "Wado-ryu Karate-do" (BAB Japan). He is a member of the Japan Kobudo Promotion Association and the Japan Kobudo Association.
