About the Author
Tadayuki Sato
Born on May 7, 1957 in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Tenri High School and the Faculty of Education at Waseda University. During his time at Tenri High School, he was in the judo club and his teachers were Kato Hideo 8th Dan and Nomura Motoji 8th Dan. His father was Sato Gohachiro 8th Dan, an alumnus of the Waseda University judo club, and a classmate of Master Tomiki Kenji. His father's teacher was Nagaoka Hideichi 10th Dan. At Waseda University, he was in the Aikido club and studied under Master Tomiki. Osawa Yoshimi 10th Dan was his seminar teacher. He is currently a lecturer at the Waseda University Graduate School of Sport Sciences and a master of the Aikido club at the same university.
