Hiroshi Nanri Born in Tokyo in 1941 and raised in Kyushu during his youth. In 1971, at the age of 30, he joined Kyokushin Karate. At 37, he made his first appearance at the All Japan Karate Championship. Renowned as "Nanri the Breaker," during a television interview, he shattered a hanging block, a feat no other black belt could achieve, earning him a 5th Dan from the late Sosai Masutatsu Oyama. He served as the head instructor and camp leader at the Kyokushin Honbu Dojo for many years. In 2000, he established the Nanri Dojo in Kameido. Currently, he serves as the Tokyo Higashi Branch Chief of Shin Kyokushin, dedicated to guiding the next generation.
