A karate enthusiast and a karate journalist, Miguel Da Luz has compiled articles on 122 dojo in 69 countries and regions, articles that were published in the Okinawa Times “Weekly Okinawa Karate”. As Okinawa karate is a martial art which has spread across the world regardless of cultural differences, this book introduces worldwide karate practitioners who are deeply fond of Okinawa karate and its essence. 

About the Author:

Born in Bretagne, France, in 1971. Became interested in karate when 14 years old and trained Okinawa Gōjū-ryū in his hometown. Landed in Okinawa on September 11th, 1993. Since 2005, engaged in various karate projects among which the editing of the monthly publication “Okinawa Karate News”. Since 2011, involved in the promotion of Okinawa karate and supporting national and foreign karate visitors.
