Kosaka Mitsunosuke Profile Born on June 28, 1906. He began judo at the age of 16 during his second year in a pre-war junior high school. At the age of 25, he became a judo instructor at the former Kanazawa Fourth High School. Subsequently, he continued to teach at pre-war junior high schools, high schools, and universities, ultimately becoming the judo instructor at Nagoya University at the age of 61. For over 30 years thereafter, he was recognized as one of the few instructors embodying collegiate judo's ne-waza techniques, dedicating himself to mentoring future generations. He passed away on February 15, 1998.
