About the instructor:
Kanae Hirata Born in 1922 in Okayama Prefecture. He started judo at the prestigious Tsuyama Junior High School, known for its ground techniques, and continued his success at Kansai Gakuin High School of Commerce. As an authority in ground techniques, he dedicated himself to mentoring future generations and promoting Technical College Judo until his passing in 1998.
