Bujinkan Budo Densho Book 8 Kukishinden Ryu Rokushaku Bo by Carsten Kuhn
The nine different schools (Ryu) of Bujinkan Budô embody a centuries-old Japanese warrior tradition with their techniques. This book (Densho) takes up one of these schools, the Kukishindenu.
However, it focuses on the use of the long stick (Rokushaku Bô).
In Japanese, the term Densho refers to the scrolls in which knowledge about techniques, strategies or training methods are written down and passed on from generation to generation over centuries.
This "modern" Densho is primarily intended as a working basis for daily training. The special feature is that only drawings are used to illustrate the movement sequences in order to focus attention on the execution of the individual techniques and Kata.
Concise explanatory texts complete the information. In terms of content, the book outlines the most important forms of movement when using the long pole in Kukishinden Ryû.
