About the Instructor:
Norio Sakasai (born 1972) is a senior Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu instructor (Daishihan) and soke (head) of Takagi Yoshin Ryu (18th) and Gikan Ryu (16th), appointed by Masaaki Hatsumi in late 2019 upon his retirement from regular teaching. He began training in Bujinkan Ninjutsu at age 15 in 1988 to study under Hatsumi Sensei. He teaches at the Bujinkan Honbu Dojo, produces instructional DVDs on Bujinkan techniques, and focuses on vital point attacks, strikes, throws, joint locks, and muto dori.
