Nippon Den Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu
Volume 2: Aikijujutsu
A Counter Technique of Jujutsu and Hidden Techniques with Countless Variations
Jujutsu serves as the front technique for refining "kiai" as a precursor to Aiki, whereas Aikijujutsu represents a counter technique (variation technique) of jujutsu with numerous variations. Beyond these, "Aiki-no-jutsu" is a strategic theory mastered by high-ranking warriors.
As one gradually masters these three major techniques of Nippon Den, the "kiai" developed in jujutsu naturally evolves into "aiki", which is the essence of Japanese martial arts.
