Nippon Den Daito-ryu Aiki-Jujutsu
Vol. 1: Jujutsu
Front Techniques for Refining "Kiai" as a Prelude to Aiki
"Jujutsu" serves as the front technique in refining "kiai" as a prelude to Aiki. "Aiki-Jujutsu" follows as the technique extending from jujutsu with numerous variations, while "Aiki-no-jutsu" represents a strategic theory mastered by high-ranking warriors, distinct from the first two.
Throughout the gradual mastery of these three major Nippon Den techniques, the "kiai" cultivated in jujutsu naturally evolves into "Aiki", the quintessence of Japanese martial arts.
