In the 1970s, Greco-Roman wrestler and grappling expert Kiguchi Noriaki founded the Kiguchi Dojo, a renowned sports gym that trained numerous prominent Japanese wrestlers, grapplers, and MMA fighters, including Myu and Seiko Yamamoto, Yamamoto "Kid" Norifumi, Rumina Sato, Gomi Takanori, Genki Sudo, and others.

Kiguchi developed a unique submission grappling style called Combat Wrestling, blending the techniques of Olympic Wrestling and Sambo. His goal was to create a well-balanced system focused on effective submission grappling.

In this book & DVD, his only instructional, he covers much of his training routines.
