Holds master's licenses in Shinto Muso-ryu Jōjutsu, Shinto-ryu swordsmanship, Ikkaku-ryu jitte, Isshin-ryu kusarigama, Uchida-ryu short jōjutsu, Asayama Ichiden-ryu martial arts, Suiō-ryu small armor and wakizashi, among others. Currently serves as the 8th dan Jōdō Hanshi of the All Japan Kendo Federation, chairman of the Jōdō Section of the Tokyo Kendo Federation, and head/sensei of the Shinto Muso-ryu Jōshin-kai.
