Born on August 4, 1975, in Tokyo.
Began training in mixed martial arts at Shooto Gym "K'z FACTORY" in August 1997.
Started serious training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Minoru Washi in 1999.
Co-founded Triforce Jiu-Jitsu Academy with Mitsuyoshi Hayakawa in 2004.
Won the European Championship in the Brown Belt Light Featherweight division in 2006, receiving his black belt from Mitsuyoshi Hayakawa.
Boasts an undefeated record in the "Gi" division of professional Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, establishing himself as one of Japan's foremost Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners.
