RMAX International

RMAX International was a martial arts and functional fitness publishing company founded by Scott Sonnon. Best known for its instructional books, DVDs, and training systems, RMAX combined elements of Russian Sambo, grappling, internal martial arts, mobility training, and conditioning into a unique “flow-based” approach to martial arts and athletic performance.

RMAX became especially popular in the late 1990s and throughout the 2000s, producing a large catalog of martial arts and fitness instructional media under programs such as Circular Strength Training®, Flow Fighting™, and Warrior Wellness™. Their books and DVDs were widely used by martial artists, fighters, coaches, and fitness enthusiasts around the world. New releases and active DVD production continued into the early-to-mid 2010s.
