- Graduated from Kyushu University School of Medicine in 1980. Engaged in emergency medical care at Fukuoka Tokushukai Hospital. Dissatisfied with medical practices relying solely on drugs and surgery, he explored Eastern medicine through the Fukuoka Medical Doctor's Kampo Study Group. Through research and practice in herbal medicine and acupuncture, he eventually arrived at Qi Gong. Joined the Second Surgery Department of Kyushu University School of Medicine in 1983. Moved to Saga Prefectural Hospital in 1987, serving as Chief Surgeon at Koseikan and Director of Oriental Medicine Treatment Department. Founded Y.H.C. Yayama Clinic in 2001, where he integrates Western and Eastern medicine to practice comprehensive healthcare, harnessing the life energy known as "qi."
